by A. Lawrence Vaincourt John Hallahan (67-69 STRATCOM Transmitters), one of our strongest veteran supporters asked me if a well-known poem could be posted for Memorial Day. I did some research and found it was written by a Canadian who enlisted in the service during WW II and wrote this when he came back. Instead of simply posting the text of the poem, I am providing a link to his son's web page where he talks about his father and the poem and has the poem in it's original form.
